Sleep Update

We are doing a little better this week than we were last week. My Mom and Dad came over this weekend with their "anti-bug box". First they went around the room with flashlights and looked for signs of bugs. Then they used their "special spray" (rubbing alcohol mixed with mostly water) to spray down the girls room. Then they mixed the "bug mix" in a bowl (again, water and alcohol) and used a paint brush to "apply it" to their cribs. They painted down the whole crib. Then they used "special tape" around the bottom of their crib rails to catch any bugs that might want to crawl up into their beds. This whole procedure took about half an hour and when it was done our house was officially "de-bugged"!!! Thanks Mom and Dad!!!

So that is now off the table. So at night instead of complete hysteria over bugs being "all over her" we are just having crying and screaming about not wanting to go to sleep and being afraid of the dark. It might be slow progress but it IS PROGRESS! I'll take it.

We have scaled the crying time down from about two to three hours to closer to an hour. Hopefully in the next week or so we can get more on track.

We'll see...
