Today we arrived home from vacation. Last night the girls allowed Brian and I about four hours of sleep so leaving to the peace of our routine was not as unwelcome as I had anticipated. In some respects we are starting over where we were two weeks ago... establishing routines, settling in, getting into a new norm... and on and on. We are very optimistic that the girls will settle quickly into our "normal routine" but who ever knows.
I do know that all four of us are happy to be sleeping in our own beds / cribs tonight.
